We had a fruitful meeting on Saturday, June 20. There was news of our members, and a remote member, Donna, joined us for the first time.
We had a special guest, Sr. Lisa Marie, who gave her reflections on chapter 5 of Surrounded By Love, then invited members to share their thoughts. Some themes that were mentioned were an overflowing of God’s love, mutuality of relationships, and how the chapter was relevant today.
Members then discussed article 15 of our Rule, which deals with justice. Reflections included how there is an apparent absence of God and civility in society today, how indifference can lead to insensitivity to sin, how we can be transformed and converted by the gospel, and how justice is things being in the right relationship.
