Members met online and shared news of their family and their experiences since November.
We then began to discuss the encyclical Fratelli Tutti, starting with its Introduction. Fr. Jim gave an overview, and Ouida posed discussion questions and facilitated the dialogue. The discussion was fruitful and elicited many thoughtful responses from members.
We then discussed various aspects of Article 20 of our Rule, which deals with the Order, its organization, the unity of purpose of the levels, and how the levels support one another. Several questions were posed about the nature of the interaction and the assistance provided between the levels. Members also discussed ongoing formation and ways to show witness in society.
We closed by praying Evening Prayer together. It was a lovely meeting, with several of our remote members participating.
