Give joy to the Lord for a new member, Francoise Bidiki, who was professed at the noon Mass on Nov 18.
At the meeting that followed, Francoise was presented with the symbols of profession: a copy of the Gospels, upon which she will base her life; a replica of the San Damiano cross, a symbol of our Order; and a candle, representing the light of her faith.
Also at the meeting members welcomed Amy Bilyeau as she moved into the Candidate phase of her formation.
Finally, Minister Larry Bleau spoke to members about Franciscan poverty and how we can live it in our lives, after which members discussed the subject.
