Summary of March Meeting

The March 17 meeting was an energetic, involved gathering. Michele reported to members on the success of the fraternity’s first involvement with the Breakfast Ministry; many thanks to those to rose early to feed workers. Quite a few members signed up to help in coming months. Amy gave a presentation on the life of St. Patrick, since it was his feastday. Afterwards she led members in praying the Breastplate Prayer, also known as the Lorica; a lovely, rhythmic, rhyming poem prayer. Members then broke into small groups discussed Article 4 of our Rule. Each group reported back to the whole its thoughtful responses to the discussion questions. There was a buzz of interaction between members we hadn’t seen in a while. To close the meeting, Larry led the group in the Litany of St. Patrick and our regular fraternity Closing Prayer.
