Hospitality Committee
A central Franciscan behavior is that of hospitality. In that sense, the volunteers on the Hospitality Committee handle a variety of tasks related to the welfare of our members, the most important being to prepare and bring refreshments to meetings, set-up before meetings and clean-up after meetings.
Outreach Committee
Social interaction between members helps us to support one another during our lives. The Outreach Committee assists in this aspect of our ministry by contacting and visiting infirm members and sending greeting and get well cards.
Formation Committee
These individuals act as instructors for those in initial formation, sponsors for those in initial formation, and work on ongoing formation projects. All of these combine to enhance and strengthen our Franciscan way of life and commitment to the Gospel.
Communications Committee
Communications are important to members, and St. Clare is the patron saint of communications. Those on this committee help to prepare and distribute the Chimes newsletter, update our web site, and maintain our email list.
Apostolate Committee
Franciscans are a “doing” people, devoted to service. In keeping with that understanding the Apostolate Committee plans service activities and contacts members to organize participation.
