We distribute the Chimes newsletter by email to our members, as well as send out timely information. Follow the steps below to subscribe to the email list, which is the Google group dcsfochimes .
If you are not a gmail.com user or do not have a gmail.com account, do steps 1-4 first, else skip them and start with step 5.
- Go to google.com .
- Select create new account.
- Create a Google account using your non-gmail email address; you do not have to create a new gmail address.
- Confirm creation of your Google account.
- Log in to your Google account.
- Go to the URL http://groups.google.com/group/dcsfochimes?hl=en
- Select Apply for group membership.
- Select “Send email for every new message” as the way to read the group, and in the text box enter your name and a reason for joining. Examples: in formation, just transferred in, have new email, professed member.
- Click on Apply to join this Group; you will return to the Discussions page. Your status will show as “pending”.
- The list manager will review your request and check your name against fraternity records.
- When your request is approved by the list manager you will receive a confirming email; check your spam folder in case it gets trapped there. You will start receiving emails from the list.
When you next visit URL http://groups.google.com/group/dcsfochimes?hl=en (you will have to sign on to google.com or gmail.com if you have not already done so), you will be able to access the list’s contents. To view past list messages, click on the Discussions link on the right side of the screen.
